I remember being in the East stand for this and there was an atmosphere building where you could feel we were going to score against Arsenal and when it happened the roof came off UP -- still makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. Awesome,

Used to sit in BML and there were some funny fuckers around us.
Every time Rob Green went to take a goal kick one of them shouted kick it hard robert. he started looking round waiting for them to shout it.
Good times around the pardew time there, then in came curbishley....

Sold i think that game was the best ever atmosphere i have been in post match for celebration, possibly only beaten by the play off final v blackpool.

I loved his interviews... absolute Bubbu Gump thicko... best one was after the semi final when he scored the winner...
Interviewer: "Great goal Marlon... why don't you think you turned up in the first half"
Marlon: "Eh?? I been here all day....."
Interviewer: "I was talking more about the team not really turning up for the 1st half"

I remember when he was stood by the post at a corner after it came out he was a painter and decorator with his affair.
Someone shouted from the south bank lower, has the post got gloss or matt paint on it Marlon. He laughed and gave a thumbs up to the bloke.
I think he used another name for his liason didn't he. If so the bloke called him that.
I loved that time of going to West Ham.
